Better than the photos suggest
We went on a Saturday morning and stayed three hours longer than planned. Staff were lovely, the views are everything you've heard about, and the photos honestly don't do it justice. Will absolutely be bringing the rest of the family next time.

An Aussie classic for a reason
Born and raised in Melbourne and somehow only just visited. Worth the trip from anywhere in the country — pace yourself and don't try to do too much in one day.

Brought the kids — they loved it
The girls (6 and 9) had a brilliant time. Packed lunch, plenty of water, sunscreen — that's all you need. Knock half a star off for the drop toilets being a bit grim by mid-afternoon.

Sunset is unreal
Stay until golden hour. We almost left at 4 and so glad we didn't — the colours over the water were the best I've seen all year.
